Welcome to the Hyperdiscs Robotic CD/DVD Duplicator Documentation Wiki

If you need to contact me, please use the contact wiki owner link at the bottom of the page.

This wiki will contain the following

  • Pointers to manufacturer provided documentation, software, firmware and macros (if applicable).
  • Cataloging and pictures* of CD or DVD robots (including pickers and robotic controller boards) used by various manufacturers.
  • Wiki-generated documentation on changing settings, making adjustments and test ports, if applicable.
  • Wiki-generated documentation of the Command Sets, including macro language.
  • Discussion of (and settings files for) the Universal Loader CLI (ULCLI) tool for using many of the robots with several windows applications.
  • Information useful for choosing and replacing drives, interfacing with or exposing serial control ports and chosing the right bridge controllers.

This wiki will not contain the following

  • Information related to duplicators that are not primarily controlled via a serial data interface, such as the Primera Bravo series (at least, not at this time).
  • Copyrighted documents or software that we do not have a right to distribute will neither be hosted here, nor pointed to (unless stored on a site provided by the copyright holder).
  • Instructions on how to use the hardware to defeat legal directives in the US, such as the DMCA.

Hardware covered will include, but not be limited to, devices made or sold by:

  • MF-Digital, Mediatechnics, Disc Robotics, CD Robotics, ADR, All Pro Solutions
  • Discmakers / Amtren
  • Primera
  • Microboards
  • Rimage / Cedar
  • (this list will grow)

Focus will tend to remain on older units, as they are easier to come by.
